  • About Quality & HSE

    Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, the four components of Hawk corporate management approach is based on the belief that all product rejection and accidents are caused by human error and are, therefore, preventable with better training and administration.

    QHSE management is a process to achieve continual improvement in the quality of the services and products, while protecting people and the environment. All our operations give utmost priority to quality, occupational health, operational safety and minimal disturbance to environment, to ensure customer satisfaction, employee morale, stakeholder goodwill and sustainability.

    Hawk Quality Management System has be certified since 1995 by the UK certification body NQA – National Quality Assurance and is currently certified to the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015. (Certificate No: 7305 and valid till 31 August 2020.)

    Hawk Environment Management System has be certified since 2008 by the UK certification body NQA – National Quality Assurance and is currently certified to the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2015. (Certificate No: 1705 and valid till 31 August 2020.)

    Hawk Health & Safety Management System has be certified since 2008 by the UK certification body NQA – National Quality Assurance and is currently certified to the requirements of BS OSHAS 18001:2007. (Certificate No: H1146 and valid till 31 August 2020.)

    The above QHSE systems are applicable to:

    The provision of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Maintenance for Oil & Gas Industry Projects (including pipelines, storage tanks, piping / mechanical works, structural and fabrication works, civil works and electrical / instrumentation works) and Infrastructure Projects (including roads, airports, bridges, underpasses and commercial / residential buildings).

This is through an effective, reliable and proven multilevel Management System which involves:

    * Top Management who establishes the Business Planning and Strategic Direction, establishes the Policy, sets Objectives, sets the Corporate Organization and allocates Management Responsibilities.
    * Corporate Management establishes Corporate Management Systems & Procedures which are a guideline for all Hawk operations.
    * Project Management establishes Project Quality & HSE Plans, procedures and Construction Method Statements.

    Scope of Quality and Environment Management System

    HAWK has established and maintains a QEMS Manual, considering issues related to external and internal issues, compliance obligations, its organizational units, functions and physical boundaries, its activities, products and service and its authority and ability to exercise control and influence.

    The QEMS Manual is prepared by the Corporate QHSE Manager, and approved by the President and CEO/Executive Manager.

    The QEMS is applicable to:

    The provision of Construction, Commissioning and Maintenance for Oil & Gas Industry Projects (including pipelines, storage tanks, piping / mechanical works, structural and fabrication works, civil works and electrical / instrumentation works) and Infrastructure Projects (including roads, airports, bridges, underpasses and commercial / residential buildings).

    HAWK applies all the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 within the scope of its quality management system. (QMS) except Design.

    HAWK does not perform design activities therefore the fulfillment to the requirements of this Clause are not applicable to our QMS. HAWK verifies the output of our customers design through measurements, fit checks and visual inspections of the constructed product(s) to the customer drawings, specifications and quality plans.
